Map of San Francisco 1892
This beautiful reproduction of a 1892 sepia lithograph of the City and County of San Francisco shows the routes of the 14 different street car lines, and how each took their names from the principal streets upon which they run. Distances from city hall are indicated by a series of concentric circles. This map was created by H.W.Faust and served as advertisement of their products which are listed on the right section of the map, together with their prices.
Our prints of vintage maps come in 3 sizes on archival enhanced matte photo paper. They are made to fit into the standard sizes listed (see sample photo for sizes above) each with a proportional white border for matting.
