Map of Japan - 1915
This 1915 map of Japan shows the country’s territory as it appeared at the time, which included both Taiwan and Korea as Taiwan was given to Japan by China following the Sino-Japanese war of 1894-95, and Korea was annexed by Japan in 1910.
A terrestrial globe shows the Japanese territory in red and all other countries in yellow. The map also depicts the topography using shaded relief. The text is in Japanese.
Our prints of vintage maps come in 3 sizes on archival enhanced matte photo paper. They are made to fit into the standard sizes listed (see sample photo for sizes above) each with a proportional white border for matting.
