Map of Germany - 1851
This engraved map of Germany shows the various regions of the country outlined in colors, as well as numerous drawings of cities, houses, and a cartouche displaying 'The Inventors of Printing: Guttemberg, Faust, Schoffeer.' The decorative border is adorned with the seals of Germany and traditional musical instruments. This map was originally part of 'The Illustrated Atlas, And Modern History Of The World Geographical, Political, Commercial & Statistical', an atlas published by J. & F. Tallis, New York.
